Meet your physio
Patients often come to me and are amazed at how big an influence their pain complaints have on their lives. As a physio I understand the consequences of your problem on the whole of the body. The sooner I find the source of your problem the sooner it will be solved.
I also approach physio from a coaching perspective to empower you to solve and manage (recurring) pain complaints.
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 at “the Hogeschool van Amsterdam”, a University in the Netherlands. I have a keen interest in the spine and in 2010 completed a year course on Orthopaedic Manual Therapy to enhance my knowledge on spinal conditions and the treatment thereof. In my profession the phenomena chronic pain is an issue over which you often trip, especially with back complaints. I attend courses provided by the pain train academy to stay informed on the newest findings and treatment prospects on the subject of pain.
I am also recently qualified as a PGAP provider. PGAP is an evidence based chronic pain treatment method which has proven to help chronic pain patients to achieve a better quality of life.
